GIVEWATTS helps households in East Africa to transition from a dependence on fossil fuels and instead use modern and efficient energy solutions. GIVEWATTS’s climate compensation is now developed together with E.ON in Sweden, as an alternative way of financing growth. 

The need to reduce use of fossil fuel is more urgent than ever. Recent extreme weather events across the globe indicate strongly that the planet is getting too close to many of its boundaries, among them levels of green house gases.
